Coaching Philosophy

I believe every woman deserves to thrive personally and professionally. 


My coaching philosophy is centered around empowering women over 45 to go from overwhelmed to UNSTOPPABLE!  


Getting to know the women I help is key to designing the programs that work specifically for them.  Giving my clients options allows me to  create specific and customized programs puts the power back into my clients hands.  The overall goal for all of my clients is to get into the best shape of their lives, undo issues around food, find ways to manage stress so they are  capable of taking on the day head on, feel invigorated, and attain optimal health and a harmonious work-life balance. 


I have developed a comprehensive approach to health and wellness for high-stress professional women over 45--it's called The SHIFT System.  The SHIFT System  includes scientific and evidence based approaches to move women from feeling frumpy in their clothes, tired all the time, and unfocused to empowering them in becoming lean, strong, determined and invigorated women living their best lives.  


The SHIFT System extends beyond mere wellness goals. Having a balanced lifestyle can have a profound impact on productivity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. By adopting quick and easy life-changing habits, busy women can also enhance their cognitive abilities, optimize their performance, and unlock their full potential.


What is the S.H.I.F.T System?


  • Strength Training: This pillar focuses on building physical strength through resistance and weight training.  It's designed to build muscle, improve muscle tone, boost metabolism, and enhance overall fitness.  
  • Holistic Nutrition:  This pillar emphasizes the importance of whole food nutrition. It provides guidance on balanced diets, meal planning, and understanding the nutritional value of foods.
  • Intentional Habits and Goal Setting:  This pillar is all about habit creation, stacking, and setting short and long-term goals. It helps women develop healthy routines and set achievable fitness and productivity goals. 
  • Focused Recover: This pillar covers rest, recovery, and stress management. It highlights the importance of giving the body time to heal and recover from workouts, managing stress levels, and ensuring adequate and quality sleep. 
  • Total Self-Care: This final pillar promotes self-care practices. It encourages participants to take time for themselves and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. 


I believe that by prioritizing self-care and wellness, women can not only achieve their desired outcomes of weight/fat loss, increased energy, and overall wellness but also enhance their professional capabilities. Through our tailored approach, we aim to empower women to thrive in all aspects of their personal  lives, creating a ripple effect of positivity and success in their careers, relationships, and beyond.

Your Coach

  

My name is Michele Castaldo, and I am no stranger to hectic schedules and juggling a million things at the same time.  After years of competing, teaching, managing multiple small businesses, taking care of parents and juggling the schedules of my kids, I realized this all leaves very little downtime.  


I was exhausted! I felt like I was just going through the motions, and I didn't like that feeling!  I knew I couldn't be the only woman out there that felt that way.  


Why I Became a Coach 


I discovered, like many other women, that life, both professionally and personally, had taken its toll on me, my health, and my professional productivity. The way I worked no longer benefited me; they way I trained  no longer benefited my body, and I completely let go of any semblance of a work-life balance.  Instead of beating myself up over what I couldn't get done or could not accomplished, I remembered my "why" and rediscovered my purpose. 


I am excited to educate and support busy women who strive to transform their bodies into lean and strong physiques while simultaneously increasing their energy level, cognitive abilities, and productivity with sound, evidence-backed lifestyle changes.
